All of

Odesa

and part of the Odesa district are temporarily without power.

The second large-scale accident

occurred at the substation in the last day .

Primorsky, Malinovsky and Suvorovsky districts of Odesa, as well as nearby villages, remained without power.

This was reported to DTEK.

Energy workers are working on revitalizing critical infrastructure.

Currently, boiler houses, water pumping stations, hospitals, etc. are being restored.

"

Due to an accident and a fire that broke out in the morning at an energy facility, there were emergency power outages in the Odesa region and Odesa

. Currently, electricity is being restored to critical infrastructure facilities (boiler plants, water stations, hospitals, etc.). It will take some time to restore the power supply." - said the head of Odesa OVA Maksym Marchenko.

Due to the lack of electricity supply

, trams and trolleybuses stopped running.

Serhii Bratchuk, the spokesman of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said that "the power supply will be restored immediately after the work is completed, so you have to be patient."

Ukrenergo cannot say exactly when the light will return.

"Unfortunately, the scale of the accident is quite significant, so the power supply restrictions will be longer this time. At the moment, it is impossible to determine a specific hour when the power supply will be fully restored. Together with Odesa OVA and oblenergo, Ukrenergo specialists are developing backup schemes for the recovery of Odesa and nearby areas. Repair crews of "Ukrenergo" and "oblenergo" are working around the clock to eliminate the consequences and restore power supply, the company's statement says.

We will remind you that on the evening of February 3,

there was an emergency disconnection of the high-voltage line in Odesa.

The day before, the energy industry announced that they had completed the work on reconnection of high-voltage networks.

According to their data, this will allow the transfer and distribution of electricity for Odesa and the Odesa district and in the future return to blackout schedules.

After the last massive missile attack by the Russian Federation, emergency power outages continue in the Odesa region, as the energy infrastructure of the region has suffered significant destruction.
