Today the Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba (LADC) company combines the talent and mastery of its members with a cast of German artists to give life to the

show "Berlín-Havana, sueño de luz"

The Amphitheater of the Historic Center of Havana will host the presentation, which will bring together the Children's Ballet, Youth Ballet, School and musical group attached to the ensemble

Result of the exchange with the school in Tanzzwiet (Berlin), the project had the collaboration of the German embassy in Cuba, pointed out the leader of LADC, Lizt Alfonso, while confessing to

The new proposal

also includes the Berlin musical band Rumpelstil, directed by the composer Jörn Brumme

, creator of the legendary Concerts of Lights (Taschenlampenkonzert) that have captivated cities in Mexico, the United States and other nations.

Likewise,

the Cuban performers Geidy Chapman, La Reina y la Real, and Emilio Martini will join the event, under the joint direction of Alfonso, the German teacher Susanne Rinneert, the German musician Brumme and the assistance of the choreographer Diana Fernández

On this occasion,

Havana will have the opportunity to host such a wonderful event, focused on the whole family

, says the company's statement, which will exhibit representative works of its style and pieces born from the cooperation established since 2022 with the German ensembles.

Last September the Children's Ballet performed in the twenty-second edition of the Concert of Lights at the emblematic Waldbühne in Berlin, one of the most significant in Germany, together with the Rumpestil band for nearly 22,000 people.

30 years after it was founded, the group has participated in important international festivals and events, the group has a varied repertoire of works that fuse contemporary ballet, flamenco, Cuban and Afro-Cuban popular dances, among other genres.
