The former Prime Minister of Great Britain appealed to the official Washington and called on Ukraine to provide "everything it needs".

Johnson posted the relevant video on his Twitter page. 

"I am in favor of giving Ukraine everything it needs to defeat Putin. The United States has done so much, so I came to Washington to thank you and 'may God bless the USA,'" he wrote.

Johnson said that he was impressed by the solidarity of Republicans and Democrats who fully support Ukraine. 

We will remind you that the ex-prime minister went to the USA to meet with Republican legislators and put pressure on them to continue military aid to Ukraine.

Before the visit of the United States, Johnson made a surprise visit to Ukraine and met with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The ex-leader of the British government also came to Borodyanka in the Kyiv region and inspected the consequences of the Russian bombings. 

Earlier, ex-prime minister Boris Johnson criticized Western countries for their indecision in supporting Ukraine's accession to NATO, which led to "the worst war in Europe in the last 80 years."
