The police disclosed the details of an extraordinary incident involving teenagers who blew themselves up with an unknown explosive device on February 3 in Izyum, Kharkiv region.

This is reported by the local police.

According to the police, around 20:00 they received a message that at one of the transport stops, teenagers were injured due to the explosion of an unidentified object.

An investigative team went to the scene of the incident and found that a 16-year-old teenager had brought an object similar to a "petal" mine to the bus stop.

The boy said that he found the device at the beginning of January in the village of Suligivka, Izyum district.

Due to careless behavior, the teenager dropped the find, which detonated and exploded when he fell.

"As a result, four girls and three boys between the ages of 14 and 17 were injured. Doctors diagnosed another girl with an acute reaction to stress," the police said.

We will remind, on February 3, the head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov announced about this event.

He noted that the condition of all children is satisfactory.
