In Ukraine, since January 28, a decree has been in effect that limits the right to travel abroad for a number of men.

The DPSU has already recorded several violators.

Andrii Demchenko, the spokesman of the State Border Service, told

about this on the air of the telethon.

According to him, as of the morning of February 4, it is known that 5 to 10 people tried to violate the resolution.

He also mentioned officials who tried to leave without valid reasons.

"Officials subject to these restrictions were not allowed at the state border. Officials were denied crossing the state border because they did not have a legal basis," he said.

The spokesman added that those who were not allowed abroad did not have proof of business travel and did not fall under a number of exceptions, when they are still allowed to cross the border.

It should be noted that on January 27, the government adopted a resolution prohibiting officials, regardless of gender, from traveling abroad for personal purposes.

Therefore, government officials can now leave the border only in the event of a business trip.

At the same time, there is a list of exceptions when officials are allowed to cross the border:

  • to women or single parents to visit children abroad in exceptional cases, in the presence of supporting documents;

  • for treatment abroad;

  • on the basis of a separate decision of the head of the DPSU, in case of death of family members abroad.

It will be recalled that since the beginning of the

full-scale war,

many men of draft age (18-60 years old) who went abroad did not return.
