[Reporter Cai Yahua/Taipei Report] Tomorrow is the Lantern Festival. The 2023 Taiwan Lantern Festival has a total of 80,000 small lanterns "Rainbow Exhibition". From today to February 6, on-site queuing and online are available in the main lighting area and 12 administrative lighting areas. Appointments were issued at the same time. The Taipei Civil Affairs Bureau prepared 5,000 small lanterns today and distributed them on the outdoor platform of the Taipei City Government Building. The crowd circled around several times. Some people came to line up 2 hours in advance, and they were all sold out in about an hour.
Despite the cold weather today, after noon, there was a crowd of people queuing up in the city government building waiting to receive the lantern. Mr. Yan, a citizen, queued up to receive the first lantern at 12:00 noon. Ms. Li, who got the lantern second, said, I have the habit of collecting small lanterns, so I came to line up to get them after lunch. This year the small lanterns feel relatively small, but they should be cute.

Before going to the Lantern Festival, many parents would line up to get the lanterns with their children. The children were very excited when they got the lanterns for the first time. There were also grandmas who took their granddaughters to get the lanterns together. They were happy and ready to go home and ask their fathers for help. Assemble.
Since each person is limited to one bottle, some people queued up to receive it again because of the two children at home, laughing and saying that they were afraid that the children would quarrel.
The Taipei City Government pointed out that this year's small lantern was inspired by the white rabbit in the classic children's literature "Alice in Wonderland". "Zhanhong Rabbit" can not only be played with lanterns, but also can be assembled into rabbit ears worn on the head. With the bright lights of LED lights, everyone can turn into a shining bunny.
