Bhopal :

Villagers attacked the police and administration team which went to remove encroachment in village Jhitarkhedi under Ghattiya tehsil area of ​​Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh (Madhya Pradesh).

The villagers pelted stones at the team, in which a total of 9 people including policemen, JCB driver were injured.

Along with this, the police vehicle and JCB were also vandalized.

Along with men, a large number of women were also involved in stone pelting.

The police also used mild force to remove the villagers. 

SDM Sanjay Sahu told that someone had encroached on half a bigha of government land in Jhitar Khedi village near the statue of Dr. Ambedkar by fencing the land.

The villagers had informed that earlier programs of all classes used to take place on the land, but after the encroachment all stopped.

Following the complaint of encroachment, the team along with the police force had reached on Friday afternoon.

When the team was leaving after removing the wire fencing, some people started throwing stones first at the JCB and then at the police team.

After this there was an uproar in the village.

Meanwhile, the JCB driver and several policemen were injured in the stone pelting.

In this video, a large number of women and men are seen creating a ruckus.

At the same time, many policemen are seen running here and there to save their lives. 

Vehicles of top police officials including SDM Sanjay Sahu got stuck during stone pelting by the villagers.

Meanwhile, the SDM was sent away by his security personnel in a safe vehicle.

A total of 9 people were injured in stone pelting, in which PS Yadav, Virendra Parihar, Sursingh Bamnia, Babulal Patel, Sakshi Joshi, Arvind Yadav, Mohan Lal, Shiv Shankar and JCB driver were injured.
