The 46-year-old woman who more than a week ago barricaded herself in a hair salon, shot, hit the owner on the head and had 8-hour negotiations with the police is speaking.

A property dispute that has dragged on for two years in court is at the heart of this saga.

The woman is under house arrest, reports Nova TV.

Evelina Antonova - this is the woman who confronted the police in Veliko Tarnovo about two weeks ago.

Velikotarnovka is known in local society for her active positions on a number of issues.

This story, however, was personal.

"Things developed very quickly.

This development was unexpected.

I felt it as an extreme necessity.

To protect my property.

Last chance.

"I have been looking for two years for a way to legally find the truth and get a fair trial," the woman said.

After the horror in Veliko Tarnovo: Why did an armed woman barricade herself in a hair salon?

46-year-old Evelina claims to have a property dispute with hairdresser Tsetska Toteva over a building under construction.

On January 23, he goes to the studio.

She intended to clear things up with the hairdresser once and for all.

“I walked back with the folder in my bag, with the gun, which is legal.

It was in my purse and separated – a magazine from a gun.

I did not go with the aim of pointing a gun, firing a shot and threatening her," the woman who later barricaded herself claimed.

She also says that she herself called 112 in advance. She thought of bluffing the hairdresser, admitting guilt for the property dispute in front of the single emergency number.

And then everything went wrong.

“She pushed me.

Well, here I hit something sharp.

I don't know how it happened.

And she ran outside.

I immediately put the phone down.

I had dialed 112. I reached into my bag, pulled out the weapon and went outside.

There were witnesses.

I don't know them, but I apologize to them for making this breach of public order stressful.

I drew and loaded the weapon, fired a shot of lead bullets into the ground.

Not with stop cartridges.

You know, stop rounds are bullets in a bag and they can hurt someone on the sidelines.

They are bursting.

I didn't want to shoot her.

If I wanted, I could have covered her with bullets from head to toe.

I also had another refill and until the police came... That was not my goal," recalls Evelina Antonova.

Although the goal was not to cause any casualties, a physical collision also occurred.
