APA informs that the visit of the dignitary to Icherisheher began with an acquaintance with the Gosha Gala gate square.

The head of state of Romania was informed about the history of the construction of the fortress walls.

During the electric car ride, the dignitary was given detailed information about the "Icherisheher" State Historical-Architectural Reserve, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, as well as the repair, improvement and restoration works carried out here.

It was reported that rare historical architectural monuments of different centuries are preserved in the territory of Icherisheher.

Then the dignitary got acquainted with the Shirvanshahs Palace Complex, a masterpiece of medieval Eastern architecture, a world-important historical-architectural monument.

It was reported that the buildings of the historical monument built at the beginning of the 15th century are located on the highest point of one of the hills of the Old City.
