Unexpectedly, 15 years later, she appeared on the streets of Taipei City with a haggard look, suspected of dementia; It turned out to be a missing person, and finally let her find her way home.

Wang Qiling, a police officer from the Ningxia Road Police Station of the Datong Branch of the North City Police, was on duty on January 12 when he was on duty in the police area. When he passed by No. 57 Changji Street in his jurisdiction, he found an old woman who was listless and standing there dumbfounded. Before asking if she needed assistance and checking her identity, it turned out that the 83-year-old woman surnamed Jiang was a missing person reported by the Zhongzheng No. 2 Sub-bureau, and then drove her back in a patrol car to make evacuation materials.

The police checked the information and found that Mrs. Jiang was a 51-year-old woman surnamed Sun who was reported by the Zhongzheng No. 2 Sub-bureau in August 2010. She is the daughter of Mrs. Jiang. The other party alleged that her mother moved into a nursing home in 1997 because of unhappy family relations, but she committed suicide on her own in 102 years. After being discharged from the hospital, he disappeared. Due to personal matters and concerns about the safety of his mother, he asked the police to help him find him.

After notifying Mrs. Jiang’s family, Wang inspected Mrs. Jiang’s physical condition immediately. However, she had to walk with a cane. The police considered that she was too old to move, so Wang escorted her back to her residence on Minzu West Road safely so that her family could be reunited .
