Prime Minister Denis Schmigal said this during a joint briefing with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen in Kyiv, Ukrinform reported.

"Regarding large-scale reconstruction - according to World Bank estimates as of June 1 last year, the total amount needed for reconstruction as a result of the damage and destruction caused by Russia to Ukraine is 350 billion dollars. By the beginning of 2023, this amount can to reach 600-750 billion," Schmigal stressed.

He added that the number one source of funding for reconstruction should be confiscated Russian assets, because Russia has to pay for the destruction.

Shmygal said during the World Economic Forum in Davos that Ukraine's post-war reconstruction program will be the largest reconstruction project since World War II.
