A driver is in hospital after being hit by the bus he was driving.

The incident happened yesterday around 10:15 a.m. in the resort of Pamporovo in a parking lot in front of a ski center.

The bus with Smolyan registration, driven by a 64-year-old man from Smolyan, stopped at a parking lot for passengers to get off.

The driver exits the vehicle, failing to take measures to prevent it from rolling away, causing the bus to drive off and hit him.

The victim was transported to the "Dr. Bratan Shukerov" Hospital in Smolyan, where he was admitted for treatment with a bilateral fracture of the ischial bones, without danger to his life.
