On Thursday, February 2, two Norwegian volunteers, Sander Sjorsven Trelvik and Simon Jonsen, were injured by shelling in Bahmut.

They evacuated the wounded after another Russian attack.

This was reported by the publication VG.

"I just want to inform you that Sander was injured in Ukraine. Now he is being taken to the Dnipro hospital for surgery. He received burns and a shrapnel wound. His internal organs are not damaged," said Sander's mother.

He arrived in Ukraine on Monday, and on Thursday he went on his first mission.

Volunteers were given the task of helping the wounded.

As soon as they took them and put them in the car, a projectile hit the vehicle, Jonsen said.

Several people who were with them died, the Norwegian volunteer noted.

Earlier we reported that despite the statement of the Prime Minister of Hungary, ordinary residents of the country are collecting generators for Ukrainians.

They hope that the entire country will not be judged by their prime minister.
