Alyaksandr Lukashenka's foreign visits are taking on more and more amazing forms.

See for yourself.

First, he rested for five days (from January 25 to 30) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This trip is officially marked as a visit.

Lukashenka held one protocol meeting there with some official person, which the press service was even ashamed to mention.

Because, probably, its level was extremely low.

Then he went to Zimbabwe.

That visit was more exotic than fruitful.

It was expected that he would return home by now.

But unexpectedly it turned out that Lukashenka flew to the UAE again.

Either to continue his vacation, or to meet with the local president, Sheikh

Muhammad Ben Zaid al-Nahyan.

There is no word on the status of this trip.

What is it: a visit or a vacation?

In any case, it all looks pretty unattractive from the outside.

If we look at the situation from an official point of view, then one head of state is coming to another country.

The president of that country, that is, the owner, does not accept him, does not want to meet him.

Lukashenko waited for five days.

And did not wait.

He was forced to leave with nothing.

And now, after his visit to Zimbabwe, it turns out that the UAE president finally had time to meet with Lukashenka.

He is delighted and, instead of returning home, flies to the Emirates again.

Because the president of the UAE showed such an honor, he agreed to the meeting.

All this looks very humiliating for Lukashenka.

Allegedly, one leader begged for a meeting, and the other after some time finally showed mercy.

As a result, Lukashenka was so moved that at the beginning of the negotiations he showed excessive flattery for heads of state: "Mr. President, I am a very sincere person, so you know what I think about you.

I have always thought highly of you and your friends.'

The fact is that now it is not important for Lukashenka how he looks from the outside.

If the reputation is lost, then you can continue to behave regardless of anything.

And the readiness of foreign leaders to accept it is now worth its weight in gold.

Although Lukashenko often visits the UAE, the trade turnover between Belarus and the Emirates is small.

In 2021, it amounted to 80 million dollars.

Moreover, it practically does not grow.

The leaders' meeting was accompanied by the following statement from Lukashenka's press service: "The fact that the eldest and youngest sons of the President of Belarus took part in the meeting is especially worth noting. This also indicates the special character of relations, truly friendly."

Is this a hint of a family business?
