Anti-war activist Oleg Seliverov was detained in Moscow, who was suspected of being in connection with the Nexta Live channel.

His house was searched, the human rights project "OVD-Info" reports.

As a result of the search, equipment was confiscated from Selivestrov, and he himself was taken for questioning.

The man managed to tell his relatives that he is suspected under the article on public calls for terrorist activities or terrorist acts.

Earlier, 27-year-old Oleg Seliverov was checked for his connection to the Telegram channel Nexta Live.

The Russian security forces claimed that the investigators believe that this telegram channel was created for him.

Both Oleg Selivestrav and the NEXTA Live telegram channel denied this information.

"First of all, the very fact that our employee can be in Russia or Belarus is absurd.

For security reasons, none of the active representatives of the editorial office visits the mentioned countries.

Secondly, there are no citizens of the Russian Federation in the NEXTA editorial office," NEXTA Live commented.

Nexta is a Belarusian project founded by journalist Styapan Putila.

Its authors never mentioned their cooperation with the Russian Oleg in their interviews.
