Many leaders are raising questions on some lines of Shriramcharitmanas

Lucknow:

The Ramcharitmanas episode does not seem to stop.

Attacking the Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Mayawati said on Friday that the scripture of the weaker and neglected sections of the country is not 'Ramcharitmanas or Manusmriti' but 'Indian Constitution'.

Mayawati said that Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar in the Constitution has given the noun of these deprived sections not as 'Shudra', but as Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and SP calling them 'Shudra'. Do not insult them and do not disobey the constitution.

SP leader Swami Prasad Maurya said on Thursday that only women and 'Shudra' can understand the pain of derogatory remarks made in the guise of religion.

Mayawati tweeted, "The granta of the weaker and neglected classes in the country is not Ramcharitmanas and Manusmriti etc., but the Indian Constitution, in which Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar has given them the noun of SC, ST and OBC, not Shudras. Hence The SP should not insult them by calling them Shudras, nor should they defy the Constitution."

He said, "Not only this, Congress, in the case of exploitation, injustice, injustice to Dalits, tribals and OBC society in UP like other states of the country and neglect and contempt of great saints, gurus and great men etc. born in these classes, BJP and Samajwadi Party are also no less than anyone."

The BSP leader said, "At the same time, before advocating for them, the SP chief must look into his collar by remembering the incident of June 2, 1995 at the Lucknow State Guest House, when the daughter of a Dalit who was going to become the Chief Minister was shot. The murderous attack was carried out in the SP government."

Mayawati further said that anyway it is well known that the importance of self-respect and self-respect of SC, ST, OBC, Muslim and other religious minorities etc. in the country is always vested and protected in the BSP, while the rest of the parties are interested in their votes. For the sake of, she keeps on doing variety of theatrics.

Maurya, who came into limelight after commenting on Shri Ramcharitmanas, on Thursday compared the humiliation faced by Mahatma Gandhi to the pain of women and 'Shudra'.

Maurya tweeted, Gandhiji understood the pain of the insult and ill-treatment meted out to Gandhiji in the train by the British by saying 'Indians are dogs'.

Similarly, the derogatory comments that are made for women and Shudra society under the guise of religion, only women and Shudra society understand their pain.

It is worth noting that SP's Legislative Council member Swami Prasad Maurya had said on January 22 that if any section of the society has been insulted on the basis of caste, caste and class in some lines of Shri Ramcharitmanas, then definitely it is 'unrighteousness not religion'. Is.

Maurya had said that some lines of Shri Ramcharit Manas mention caste names like 'Teli' and 'Kumhar', which hurt the sentiments of lakhs of people of these castes." Maurya demanded that such parts of the book There should be a ban on those who insult someone on the basis of one's caste or any such mark.
