In Izyum, seven teenagers (three boys and four girls) aged 14-17 found a fragment of a "petal" anti-personnel mine.

One of the teenagers picked him up from the ground and threw him next to the others.

The mine detonated.

The event happened on Friday, February 3, around 8:00 p.m.

This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov in Telegram.

"As a result of the explosion, all the children received shrapnel wounds. Their condition is satisfactory. However, five of them were hospitalized in the Izyum hospital. There is currently no threat to their lives," Sinegubov wrote.

The head of the OVA once again reminded of the high mine danger in the de-occupied territories of Kharkiv Oblast.

"In case of discovery of suspicious objects, under no circumstances should you touch them. This is very dangerous. It is necessary to immediately notify the specialists of the State Emergency Service or the police about such a find," Sinegubov asks.

We will remind you that a car was blown up by a mine in Mykolaiv Oblast: a baby was among the victims.
