Chief Prosecutor Wu Wencheng of the Yunlin District Prosecutor's Office said that after receiving a report from the people of Yunlin County at the beginning of January that they were defrauded by "HR484268XD" 1,000-yuan counterfeit banknotes, which later led to cases of counterfeit banknotes circulating across Taiwan, Chief Prosecutor Zhang Chunhui attached great importance to it and ordered prosecutor Shi Jiarong to work with him.
