In an interview with the media after the meeting, You Xikun said that due to the tight schedule of the trip, he did not arrange to meet with members of the US Congress.

However, he revealed that he met with James Moriarty yesterday.

He said that most of the meetings with Jian Mo, as well as officials from the US administration in charge of labor, human rights, and environmental protection, were still related to religious freedom.

When asked about the US House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy's statement yesterday that China has no right to comment on his itinerary, You Xikun said that it is very natural for Congress to communicate and visit each other.

China prides itself on being a democracy. Since it is a democratic country, it should not react strongly, "people will see through its hands and feet."

You Xikun will transfer to New York in the afternoon, and will have dinner with the Chinese community in New York in the evening before leaving for Taiwan.
