The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy, Antonio Tajani, said that the Samp-T anti-aircraft missile complex, which his country, together with France, intends to transfer to Ukraine, will probably be deployed within two months.

This was discussed in an interview with the head of the Italian Foreign Ministry on the Rai TV channel.

"The complex will be deployed on the territory of Ukraine within the next seven to eight weeks," Tajani said.

He also noted that "it is difficult to make predictions about Russia's war against Ukraine," but the Russian Federation "will definitely look for a way out" of the situation.

Therefore, the international community should "strive to protect Ukrainian independence and work for peace."

At the same time, it was already noted that the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs refused to give Ukraine its tanks, because they "are not fighting with the Russian Federation."

It was also reported that

Italy and France will purchase 700 anti-aircraft missiles

for air defense systems that will arrive in Ukraine.
