Photos and videos of high-profile searches conducted on February 1 by employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Bureau of Investigation, and the Bureau of Economic Security have reached the Internet.

In particular, the law enforcement officers showed the items seized during the searches.

In Dnipro, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Bureau of Economic Security came to the home of businessman Ihor Kolomoiskyi. 

The reason for the visit was cited by the SBU as the investigation into the embezzlement scheme of 40 billion hryvnias by the former management of PJSC "Ukrnafta" and PJSC "Ukrtatnafta".

As LB.ua reports with reference to sources in the law enforcement agencies, the law enforcement officers did not seize or find anything during the search of the businessman.

During the investigation, nothing was found in the nearby houses and on the territory.

Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation exposed the head of the tax service of Kyiv for multimillion-dollar embezzlement.

The SBI conducted searches at the place of residence and work of the suspect.

During the investigation, 158 thousand dollars, 530 thousand hryvnias and 2.2 thousand euros, luxury watches, cars and other things were found.

In the 2018 wish list, the woman wrote about a promotion, a sable fur coat, a trip to London and a birthday present from her husband - a Breguet watch.

And already in 2021, the woman dreamed of the position of acting

head of the tax service of Kyiv, a holiday in the Maldives and a million dollars. 

The Security Service of Ukraine exposed the ex-head of the Department of State Procurement and Supply of Material Resources of the Ministry of Defense for embezzling over UAH 100 million of state funds.

According to the investigation materials, this official purchased almost 3,000 bulletproof vests for more than UAH 100 million for the Armed Forces.

However, according to several independent examinations, these products do not meet the requirements of class IV body armor and cannot adequately protect Ukrainian soldiers.

The official was charged with several articles of the Criminal Code.

It is reported that Myronyuk is involved in an investigation into fraud in state procurement.

During the investigation, almost a million dollars were found in his sofa.
