New Delhi:

A youth was killed after a brawl over dancing to the tunes of a 'DJ' during a wedding ceremony in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh.

This information was given by the police.

Additional Superintendent of Police Dr. Praveen Ranjan Singh said on Thursday that some youths were dancing to the tune of 'DJ' during a marriage ceremony on Wednesday night in Nawada village of Haldaur police station area.

He told that during this time there was a fight between Neetu and Devendra (32) over dancing, although others present there intervened and averted the matter.

He told that it is alleged that when Devendra was returning home late at night, Neetu hit him on the head with a weapon.

He told that Devendra died on the way while being taken to Meerut for treatment.

Singh told that the police have arrested Neetu and the matter is being investigated.
