35-year-old military man Vitaly Kanyovsky died in a road accident in Khmelnytskyi region.

The man took a short-term vacation and was returning home to see his relatives. 

This was announced by the mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi Mykhailo Positko. 

Vitaly Kanyovskyi defended Ukraine in the 214th separate rifle battalion.

The man took a vacation to see his relatives, but died in a road accident. 

"The military man defended our borders, our peace from the occupier with dignity. He returned home, but not in the way we would have liked. Forever 35... Two children were left without a father," wrote the mayor of the city. 

Due to the death of a soldier, a day of mourning was declared in Kamianets-Podilskyi. 

"Vitaly will be buried tomorrow, February 3. The community is declaring a Day of Mourning. The cortege with the Hero's body will move at 10:30 from the village of Pershotravnevoy along Hrushevskyi Avenue to the Officers' House. The farewell ceremony will begin at 11:00. Burial on Alley Slavy at 1:30 p.m. Forever in our memory," wrote the mayor of the city.

A man and a woman were traveling from the front to see their 13-year-old son, who was evacuated from Berdyansk to Khmelnytskyi.
