[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] Korean media sources pointed out that in response to North Korea's threat, the South Korean and US military held a joint air exercise yesterday, including US strategic bombers and stealth fighters, as well as the South Korean military's F-35A fighter jets.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean military pointed out that the US and South Korean militaries held a joint air exercise yesterday, and the two fighter planes flew over the Yellow Sea between China and the Korean Peninsula. This is the first such exercise this year.

Including the U.S. Air Force's B-1B strategic bombers, F-22 and F-35B stealth fighters, and the South Korean military's F-35A fighters participated in the exercise to deal with the increasing missile and nuclear threats from North Korea.

The report mentioned that the South Korean Ministry of National Defense pointed out that this joint air exercise is in line with the agreement reached at the summit between the two countries last year. In response to North Korea’s missile and nuclear threats, the United States has the willingness and ability to provide a strong and reliable extended deterrent capability. Extended deterrence means , the United States pledged to use the full range of military capabilities, including nuclear weapons, to defend its allies.
