HomeAzerbaijan has started transporting additional gas volume to Romania since January.
Tomorrow, the state oil company "Romgaz" and SOCAR of both countries will sign a new agreement.
According to that agreement, additional gas will be transported to our country in 2023-2024.
APA reports that Romanian President Klaus Iohannis said this in a press statement together with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
"Both the Southern Gas Corridor and the future green energy project to be built under the Black Sea will bring Azerbaijan's renewable energy sources to Europe.
Both projects are strongly supported by the leadership of the European Union.
We discussed these issues with Mr. President Aliyev," said the President of Romania.
