Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, called on the Western partners to provide the country with all the necessary weapons as soon as possible, so that the allies do not have to "watch with tears in their eyes how our heroes die."

He added that this war is modern and high-tech, so if Ukraine gets all the necessary weapons, the allies will not have to "watch with tears in their eyes how our heroes die."

It will be recalled that earlier Podolyak had already turned to partners regarding weapons for Ukraine.

He explained that if there are no weapons, then the war will spread to the European Union, because Russia "will not stop the expansion."

It should be noted that Oleksiy Reznikov, the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said that the Russian Federation may try to go on a new offensive around February 24.

So the minister called on NATO countries to provide more weapons.

Meanwhile, Russia convened a meeting of the UN Security Council due to the supply of weapons to Ukraine by the state's Western allies.

The meeting is scheduled for February 8.
