The 41-year-old woman, who wished to remain anonymous, used a free coupon to buy a lottery ticket and was surprised to learn she had won a large sum.

"On New Year's Eve, I bought a ticket for a free coupon that I received for participating in repeated draws," said the American woman.

When she removed the protective layer from the ticket, she saw that she had won $300,000.

"I couldn't believe it! I double-checked the ticket a few times and scanned it with the lottery mobile app to make sure. When the $300,000 number appeared on the screen, I called my family and friends to tell them the good news." , - said the woman.

The winner plans to use the money to pay bills, take a vacation, and save some of the prize for the future.
