As of today, there is no threat of a new invasion of invaders from the territory of Belarus.

This was announced by the spokesman of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, in a nationwide telethon.

According to him, Putin does not stop trying to involve Lukashenka's regime in the war against Ukraine.

In particular, it is about participation in a ground operation, but he did not achieve success.

Strike groups have not yet been formed on the territory of Belarus.

"Ukraine is ready for various scenarios. This does not mean that we are relaxed about the Belarusian direction. But if the situation changes, then society, the Defense Forces, Ukrainian special services and intelligence will know about it. Today, the threat does not come from Belarus," Yusov said.

The threat of a repeated attack by the Russian Federation on Kyiv: what is known

Previously, the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine in 2005-2010, Mykola Malomuzh, stated that the scenario of a full-scale invasion by the invaders, particularly from Belarus, is unlikely.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said today that Vladimir Putin probably plans to surround Kyiv again.

Oleksandr Pavlyuk, the commander of the forces and means of defense of Kyiv, assured that the Russians do not have the opportunity to advance on two fronts.

That is why the Kremlin has aimed at Donbas.

He also explained why the Russian Federation is sending troops to Belarus.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, as of January 25, there were 5,800 Russian soldiers on the territory of Belarus.
