[Reporter Wang Hanping/Tainan Report] The 2023 Jin-Hong Kong Lantern Festival design theme lantern "Moonlight in the City" is romantic and fantastic, quite eye-catching, and will be sold in limited quantities from now on.

The Cultural Bureau of Nanshi stated that the "Moonlight in the City" carried a lantern, and the silhouette told the story of Tainan. Looking back on the history of the salt water and Yuejin Port, the Yuejin Port is the bright moon that illuminates the salt water. The city image of Tainan's well-known monuments and landmarks, one of the eight Yuejin sights, Chitu Wangyue, and salt water fireworks are used as embellishments. All elements form a scene, and it also tells the changes of Tainan over the past 400 years.

Lanterns are for the public to assemble by themselves and bring home their own moon. Lanterns will be sold in limited quantities at Yanyan Chitu Manufacturing Factory (No. 10, Zhongshan Road, Yanshui District - facing the right side of Zhoucang Temple) from now on, and each group is 100 yuan .

In addition, the number of people watching lanterns has repeatedly hit new highs. The weather has been cold recently. Concerned about the increase in public toilet demand and whether public toilets have enough service capacity, the city government has urgently doubled the number of mobile toilets around Yongcheng Theater, Qiaonan Old Street, and the water park. There are 38 mobile toilets and 5 large toilet trucks, totaling 88. The number has increased by at least 50 compared with last year, fully meeting the needs of all people.

At the same time, strengthen the signage of adjacent public toilets, and deploy more service manpower to guide, so that all tourists can enjoy the lanterns and have fun when they come to the salt water.

Deputy Mayor Ye Zeshan instructed the Bureau of Public Works to build additional public toilets to meet the increasing crowds of exhibition visitors at the Yuejin Hong Kong Lantern Festival every year and to serve tourists who come to the salt water for recreation.

The Yuejin Hong Kong Lantern Festival will last until February 12, and the lights will be turned on from 17:30 to 23:00 every day. On the day of the Lantern Festival, the lights will be turned on until 2 o'clock in the morning.
