Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky

Volodymyr Zelensky is a Ukrainian artist, screenwriter, producer and politician. Volodymyr (sometimes thanks the National Assembly for declaring the famine in his country a genocide.

The head of state in Kyiv wrote on Twitter: I am very grateful to the Bulgarian parliament for declaring the famine (1932 - 1933) a genocide against the Ukrainian people.

"This decision is a sign of respect for the millions of victims of the Famine and the restoration of historical justice," added Zelensky.

Parliament declared the Great Famine in Ukraine in 1932-1933 a genocide.

"Ukraine will never forget this gesture of solidarity made by Bulgaria," he also stated on the microblogging system.

I am grateful to the Bulgarian Parliament for recognizing the 1932-1933 Holodomor as a genocide of the Ukrainian people.

This step commemorates millions of Holodomor victims and restores historical justice.

Bulgaria's gesture of solidarity will always be remembered in Ukraine.
