Laura Lockman, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State's Office of Energy Resources, arrived in Azerbaijan to hold meetings with government officials and participate in the meeting of the IX Southern Gas Corridor Council of Ministers.

According to APA, Mrs. Lokman heads the Energy Diplomacy team at the State Department's Bureau of Energy Resources.

He will discuss US support for Azerbaijan's energy projects, as well as Azerbaijan's importance in helping stabilize Europe's energy security, including the Southern Gas Corridor.
