On Wednesday, February 1, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) began searching the home of US President Joe Biden in Rehoboth (Delaware) as part of an investigation into classified documents.

This is reported by the BBC.

The searches are taking place with the consent of the American president and are related to a large-scale investigation into the handling of classified documents.

"We have agreed to cooperate," said Biden's personal attorney, Bob Bauer.

More information will be made public after the search is over, the president's lawyer added.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) recently searched another Biden home in Wilmington, Delaware, looking for confidential documents dating back to Joe Biden's tenure as vice president and senator.

It will be recalled that previously secret documents were found in the personal office of US President Joe Biden.

The American leader said that he and his team will cooperate with the investigation to find out how the documents could end up in his office.
