IT specialists have the right to apply to the Ministry of Digital Affairs and obtain approval for booking mobilization in Ukraine.

Deputy Minister of Economy Ihor Fomenko told how to do it.

This was discussed during a briefing on the new procedure for booking conscripts.

"The mechanism is quite flexible, and one of the criteria is residency in Diya City. There is a relevant state authority - the Ministry of Digital. Both gig specialists and non-profit organizations can apply there. Next, the ministry must determine whether the services of these specialists are critically important. If so , then it is worth submitting a list of employees for reservation to the General Staff for approval, and after that receive a corresponding order from the Ministry of Economy," said Ihor Fomenko. 

According to the Deputy Minister of Economy, they plan to halve the terms of obtaining all approvals.

It used to take 1.5-2 months.

"We recommend preparing documents, contacting the relevant authorities and following the procedure," added Fomenko. 

Previously, the Ukrainian government approved a new procedure for booking workers during mobilization.

The Ministry of Economy said that the number of conscripts will depend on the situation at the front.

Lawyer Iryna Pidreza also spoke about the new procedure for booking conscripts.

She highlighted the peculiarities of reservations during mobilization.
