Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Budget-2023 in the Parliament on Wednesday.

Although many important announcements have been made in this, but a huge cut has been made in the budget of the Ministry of Minority Affairs.

The Ministry of Minority Affairs has received Rs 3097 crore this time for 2023-24, whereas in 2022-2023 this amount was 5020 crore.

However, in 2022-2023 only Rs 2612 crore could be spent out of this.

Maulana Azad Education Foundation is about to be closed, a provision of only 10 lakh has been made for it.

'Nai Manzil' has also been given a budget of only 10 lakhs.

Similarly, a provision of only ten lakh rupees has been made for skill development.

Last year there was a budget of 100 crores for skill development.

The scheme for minority students for the preparation of UPSC has been discontinued. 

Significantly, in Budget-2023, many announcements have been made for women, youth and senior citizens.

This time the biggest thing in the budget was that the change in the tax slab has been announced.

For those opting for the new tax system, the rebate limit has been increased to Rs 7 lakh.

Another relief has been given to the salaried class in the budget.

The Finance Minister also told the seven priorities of the budget.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that inclusive growth, reaching the last mile, infrastructure and investment, unlocking potential, green growth, youth and financial sector are the priorities of the budget.
