An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 occurred in the sea in Central Greece, BTA reported.

The tremor was registered around noon near the coastal town of Platamonas.

There is no information about casualties.

The epicenter of the earthquake was in the sea area 15 kilometers northeast of Platamonas. 

The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 16 kilometers, reported the Institute of Geodynamics of the Athens Observatory.

The earthquake was felt mostly by the residents of Larissa and Thessaloniki.
