The UK, Italy and Japan are set to form a company to build the latest fighter jet by the end of this year.

APA reports that "Bloomberg" published information about this.

In early December, the heads of government of the three countries signed a joint statement on the conclusion of an agreement on the creation of a combat aircraft by 2035.

The parliaments of these countries will ratify the document by the middle of next year.

According to the agency, the main issue is whether England will be the leading partner.

At the same time, negotiations on the establishment of a joint venture, which is the basis for commercial operations, will continue.

This should happen by the end of 2024.
