[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] The contractor of the mining giant "Rio Tinto" (Rio Tinto) lost a radioactive capsule during transportation in Western Australia. After half a month of searching, it was finally found and placed.

According to "Reuters" reports, Australian Emergency Services Minister Dawson (Stephen Dawson) said at a press conference that the authorities searched for more than a week on the 1,400-kilometer highway and today (1st) in an open area. Missing capsules of the radioactive isotope "Caesium-137" (Caesium-137) were found.

Since the radioactive material capsule is only about 6 millimeters in diameter and 8 millimeters in length, which is smaller than a human fingernail, Dawson said: "When you look at the search area, you can understand how challenging it is to find the capsule. Finding a needle in a haystack".

Dawson revealed the capsule was being inspected by the military and was expected to be taken to a secure facility in Perth on Thursday (2nd) for storage.

The isotope "Cesium-137" capsule is one of the parts of the instrument for measuring the density of iron ore. The Australian government stated earlier that the radiation dose of "Cesium-137" is extremely dangerous, which is equivalent to taking X-rays 10 times an hour.

Western Australia's emergency services, defence, radiation experts and officials were all out searching the perimeter of the highway after the capsule went missing last month.

Dawson concluded by telling reporters that the capsule apparently fell off the truck it was carrying and was left on the side of the road.

He added that it is unlikely that there will be pollution in the area and appealed to the public to rest assured.
