The Russian Armed Forces are preparing for the largest-scale military operations against Ukraine so far during the war.

APA reports that the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Aleksey Danilov said this in an interview with "Sky News".

The secretary does not rule out that the Russian army can attack Ukraine from the south, east and north, as it did on February 24 last year.

According to Danilov, the date of the attack may coincide with the anniversary of the large-scale war that started last year.

"The Russian army is preparing for large-scale military operations and is collecting everything possible for this, conducting trainings," he said.

It should be recalled that on January 30 last year, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced that the Russian army was preparing for a new attack.
