The central government has taken a big decision regarding the PAN card.

Now government agencies will consider PAN card as identity card.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave this information while presenting the budget in Parliament.

He said that the KYC process will be made easier.

Sitharaman told the seven priorities in the General Budget 2023 based on the concept of Saptarshi.

The Finance Minister said that the 7 priorities of the budget are inclusive growth, reaching the last mile, infrastructure and investment, unleashing potential, green growth, youth power and financial sector.

He said that capital investment outlay is being increased by 33% to Rs 10 lakh crore, which will be 3.3% of GDP.

At the same time, a capital outlay of Rs 2.40 lakh crore has been made for the Railways in the budget.

He said that relief will be given to MSMEs affected by the pandemic.

Voluntary Redressal Scheme will be introduced for settlement of contractual disputes.

Mahila Samman Savings Letter Scheme will start.

In this, women will get 7.5% interest on savings of 2 lakhs.

Nirmala Sitharaman said that the growth rate of our economy for the current year is estimated to be 7%, which is the highest among the major economies of the world.

Indian economy is on the right track and moving towards a bright future.

He said that the efforts of the government since 2014 have ensured better quality of life and dignified living of all citizens.

Per capita income has more than doubled to Rs 1.97 lakh.

In these 9 years, the Indian economy has grown as the 5th largest economy in the world.

The Finance Minister said that Rs 2 lakh crore is being borne by the Central Government under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.

Under the Antyodaya scheme, the supply of free food grains to the poor has been extended for one year.

He said that our economic agenda is focused on facilitating opportunities for citizens, accelerating growth and job creation, and strengthening macroeconomic stability.

At the same time, focusing on animal husbandry, dairy and fisheries, the agricultural loan target will be increased to Rs 20 lakh crore.
