Smriti Irani calls Budget 2023 a bonanza for the middle class

New Delhi: 

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the general budget.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the budget presented by the Finance Minister under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will lay the foundation of a new India in the Amrit Kaal and will make the lives of 130 crore Indians better and happier.

At the same time, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that increasing the income tax exemption limit to Rs 7 lakh and many other tax-related reforms will provide great relief to the middle class including salaried individuals and retired people.

I congratulate the Finance Minister and thank Prime Minister Modi for this pro-people decision.  

Amrit Kaal Budget - based on Saptarishi theme - Nitin Gadkari


Nitin Gadkari said that realizing the need for 'public participation' through 'sabka saath, sabka prayas', this is a budget to give direction to a technology-driven and knowledge-based economy with a strong financial sector for Amrit Kaal.

The Amrit Kaal budget is based on the Saptarishi theme, in which priority has been given to seven points.

They complement each other and will act as Sapta Rishis.

These include inclusive growth, last mile access, infrastructure and investment, unlocking potential, green growth, youth power and the financial sector.

Nitin Gadkari said that infrastructure development is very important for the development of the country.

Investment made on important infrastructure related to road, rail, electricity, health, education and agriculture will prove to be a milestone.

Along with this, a special provision has been made in the budget to promote the vehicle scraping policy.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh presented the general budget by Nirmala Sitharaman focused on development and welfare with priority to provide assistance to farmers, women, marginal classes and middle class.

Creating jobs through investment in infrastructure projects, along with increased spending on the agriculture, housing, healthcare and manufacturing sectors, will help create more opportunities for all and drive economic growth.

The budget reflects the government's commitment towards supporting development and welfare oriented policies, which will equally benefit all sections of the society including small business owners, farmers and professionals.
