[Reporter Liu Binquan/Nantou Report] A 5-member mountaineering team climbing the second section of the south, today (31st) descended the mountain at 10.8K in the west section of Batong Pass in Yushan Park. As a result of left hand fracture and suspected concussion, the Nantou County Fire Department assisted the air crew to carry the search and rescue personnel up the mountain to assist. After contacting the injured and completing the bandage, they requested the helicopter to hang for the second time in the afternoon, and successfully transported Ms. Zhou down the mountain to the hospital in the evening.

The Fire Department stated that the mountaineering team to climb the second section of the south entered the mountain from the Xiangyang Mountain Pass in Taitung County on January 25 during the Spring Festival. It is expected to descend from Dongpu, Nantou today. The woman accidentally slipped down the slope at 10.8K in the Batong Pass. Two fellow team members cut down to check the injury and found that Zhou's head had lacerations and vomiting symptoms. It was suspected to be a concussion.
