In the city of Vetka, Gomel region, communal services returned water to citizens' houses.

The district newspaper "Voice of Vetkovshchyna" reported on Instagram this evening.

Water in the city disappeared on January 30.

The reason was called an "emergency situation", but they did not explain what caused it.

In the city, where about 8,500 people live, they organized the delivery of water so that citizens could make some reserves.

This is the second large-scale accident in Belarus in January.

On January 16, almost 19,000 residents of Pruzhan were left without water due to the disconnection of the emergency valve.

The district hospital limited planned hospitalization and tests, and began to accept patients with a dental profile only as an emergency.

Water was given to the residents only after 19:00 the next day.
