The Chairman of the OSCE and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia, Buyar Osmani, is in Brussels, where there will be working meetings in the EU and NATO with the aim of considering the possibilities for deepening the cooperation between the OSCE, the EU and NATO.

He will also hold talks on the current foreign policy problems of the Republic of North Macedonia, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Skopje.

Before the North Atlantic Council of NATO, Osmani will present the program of the chairmanship, which the Republic of North Macedonia has assumed in the OSCE for this year.

During his visit, Osmani will also have meetings with the High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Josep Borrell, with the Deputy Secretary General of NATO Mircea Ioana, with the EU Special Envoy for the Western Balkans Miroslav Lajcak etc., the message says.

The main emphasis of the meetings in the EU will be the strengthening of OSCE cooperation with the EU during the presidency of the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as the presentation of the positions of the Republic of North Macedonia on current foreign policy developments.

In the structures of NATO and in the talks with the representatives of the Alliance, Osmani will also inform about what has been achieved so far in the OSCE, with a special emphasis on Ukraine, writes BTA.
