People should think about the migrants who, in search of a better life, fail to cross the desert, Pope Francis said today, the Italian ANSA agency reported for BTA.
He made his appeal while flying over the Sahara on his way to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Pope invited the journalists to think and quietly pray for "all those people who lose their lives in search of a little well-being and freedom".

He urged them to pray also for all those who, while trying to reach the Mediterranean, end up in (detention) camps and suffer there.
"We pray for all these people," said the Argentine pope.
