[Reporter Liu Wanjun/Tainan Report] On the 343.4 km southbound section of National Highway No. 3, a passenger car suspected of malfunctioning occurred late at night yesterday (30th), and was chased by two vehicles behind, causing 6 injuries and sent to hospital 6 people were observed with minor injuries.
At about 10:15 last night, a 43-year-old man surnamed Xu was driving a silver passenger car. When he was passing National Highway No. 3 southbound to Shanhua, the vehicle broke down for unknown reasons and stopped in the outer lane. The small passenger car chased and collided from the rear, and the impact force pushed the silver passenger car to the inner lane, and another black passenger car driving on the inner lane was unable to dodge and collided again.

The 3 vehicles were severely damaged by the collision, resulting in minor injuries of 4 majors and 2 minors. They were sent to Annan Hospital and Yongkang Chimei Medical Center by ambulance respectively. All 6 people were conscious.
The No. 8 Highway Police Brigade of National Highway was reported and went to deal with it. The alcohol test values of the drivers of the three vehicles were all 0.00mg/l.
The accident occupied the 3-lane lane, and the scene was cleared at 11:20 midnight last night and reopened to traffic.
