The largest number of approved companies under the first procedure "Technological Modernization" from the Plan for Recovery and Sustainability under the Ministry of Innovation and Growth are from the municipalities: Ruse (47 units), Gabrovo (28 units), Pazardzhik (25 units). ), Kazanlak (21 units) and Maritsa (22 units).

They will receive a total of over BGN 40.8 million. The measure is for the renewal and modernization of the technical park of micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises with new equipment, machinery, machines, software, etc.

Its budget is nearly BGN 260 million.

Also with excellent results (over 10 projects in the municipality) are Petrich, Bozhurishte, Sliven, Dobrich, Targovishte, Vratsa, Pleven, Asenovgrad, Rodopi and Haskovo.

They will receive a total of over BGN 36.1 million.

From the statistics of the approved companies, 17 municipalities stand out with very good results, which will receive a total of over BGN 35 million. With between 5 and 9 projects approved per municipality are: Sandanski, Kyustendil, Dupnitsa, Pernik, Botevgrad, Elin Pelin,


Kostinbrod, Samokov, Aksakovo, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Razgrad, Silistra, Troyan, Kardzhali, Karlovo, Veliko Tarnovo and Montana.

There are 72 municipalities with up to 5 companies' projects approved for financing, for a total of BGN 34.4 million. Impressive are the small municipalities: Pravets, Sredets, Pavlikeni, Dryanovo, Samuil, Varshets, Dolni Dabnik, Kirkovo and Devin, which are


only with one approved project each, but each of them is for nearly BGN 700,000.

From the North-West region, the municipalities of Vratsa and Pleven excelled in the number of approved projects with 11 each, followed by Montana with 8.

We remind you that 2,423 proposals for over BGN 620 million in grants were included in the evaluation of the projects.

Of these, 953 projects were winners.

For micro-enterprises, the total grant amount can be up to BGN 180,000, for


small enterprises it is up to BGN 350,000, and for medium-sized enterprises – up to BGN 700,000.

Co-financing is up to 50%

224 medium-sized enterprises, 398 small and 331 micro-enterprises will be supported under the measure.

The first money under the PVU will reach the companies already in March.

Within a few months, the Minister of Innovation and Growth Alexander Pulev toured all the regions of the country.
