The "Technest" Scholarship Program organized by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IRIA) has started the new academic year.

"APA-Economics" was informed about this by the Agency.

It was reported that the 2nd wave of registration was announced for the city of Baku within the academic year.

Registration will be conducted in about 50 specialties offered by more than 10 leading educational centers in the ICT field of the country.

Under the program, it is planned to provide scholarships to more than 1,000 people in the first quarter of 2023, and to 3,000 people in Azerbaijan throughout the year.

The registered persons will be drawn to the scholarship after passing the competition stages, and depending on their indicators, 70, 90 and 100% of the tuition fees of the persons who won the scholarship will be provided by "Technest".

It should be noted that in the 2nd stage of the Baku wave, registration will be conducted on the specialties offered by new partners.

The last date of registration is 10.02.2023.

It should be noted that within the framework of the "Technest" Scholarship Program, IRIA carries out a professional and efficient organization of the educational process in the field of ICT. Azerbaijani citizens over the age of 12 can benefit from the program, which creates an accessible educational opportunity for everyone.

Within the framework of the program, 12 leading training centers specializing in ICT teach about 50 specialties.

The number of people who won a scholarship under the Technest Scholarship Program for 2022 is 618, the acceptance rate is 90%
