Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, two people's deputies have gone to war.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, said this on the air of a nationwide telethon.

So, people's deputies from the "Voice" faction -

Roman Kostenko

and

Roman Lozynskyi

went to the front .

It should be noted that Roman Kostenko with the call sign "Thunder" took part in combat operations in the ATO/OS and is one of the "cyborgs" - defenders of the Donetsk airport.

After the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he participated in the defense of Mykolaiv, as well as in the liberation of Snigurivka.

In addition to his political activities, Roman Lozynskyi is a sailor of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"They actually went to the front from the first day and work very effectively both at the front and in the Verkhovna Rada. They participate in meetings of both committees and the Verkhovna Rada," Stefanchuk said.

Are the children of people's deputies fighting?

Stefanchuk has no information about whether one of the children of people's deputies went to the front.

"Probably because we have a young member of the Verkhovna Rada. Some simply don't have children yet, some have small children. As for the older generation, I don't know of such cases," said the head of the Verkhovna Rada.

Note that people's deputies are not subject to conscription during mobilization.

We will remind you that today, January 31, summonses were handed out in the city council of Brovary.

Mayor Ihor Sapozhko and nine men who were present in the meeting hall received a summons to the Military Committee.

Later, Sapozhko said that he had already visited the Military Commissariat and rechecked his credentials.
