President Draupadi Murmu will start the session with her speech at 11 am.

The budget session of Parliament is starting from today, on which day President Draupadi Murmu will give her first address in the joint sitting of both the Houses.

Economic survey will also be presented in both houses today.

Prime Minister Modi will talk to the media at the Parliament Gate at 10.30 am.

After this, President Draupadi Murmu will start the session with her speech at 11 am.

BRS will boycott the President's address today.

During the session, the government's eye will be on the motion of thanks on the President's address and smooth discussion on the general budget for the financial year 2023-24, while the opposition parties have raised questions like the functioning of governors, caste-based census, inflation, unemployment in some states. Clear indications have been given to surround the government on the issues.

The government will present the Economic Survey in Parliament on January 31 during the session itself.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget for the financial year 2023-24 on February 1, 2023.

The first phase of the budget session will run till 13 February and the second phase will start from 13 March till 6 April.

There will be 27 meetings during the budget session.

In the all-party meeting on Monday, the government made it clear that it is ready to discuss every issue under the rules in Parliament and seeks everyone's cooperation in running the House smoothly.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said after an all-party meeting chaired by Union Minister Rajnath Singh, "The government is ready to discuss every issue in Parliament under the rules, we want the cooperation of the opposition."Joshi said. That 37 leaders of 27 political parties took part in this meeting.

Sources said that in the meeting, parties like TRS and DMK raised the issue of Governor's behavior in opposition-ruled states.

He said that along with this, in the all-party meeting, the Yuvajan Shramik Rythu Congress Party (YSR Congress) demanded caste-based economic census at the national level.

According to sources, YSR Congress leaders said that information about the economic condition of the backward classes is necessary to find out which class is lagging behind in the social and development index.

He said that in the meeting Trinamool Congress expressed concern over the situation of inflation and unemployment.
