The Russian occupiers are unlikely to dare to launch a new attack on Kharkiv in the near future.

They will try to completely capture Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Military expert, reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan told about this in an interview with TSN.ua.

"The Russians have already started an offensive. Since the beginning of the year, pressure has been increasing on some positions. It is mainly in Donetsk region and Luhansk region. The Russians are trying to squeeze out our garrisons or surround them, cut off the logistical chains of equipment. So far, the Russians cannot afford more. Starting a new offensive on Kharkiv is hopeless. For the Russians, it is simply to destroy a large number of troops. Because they will not be able to capture Kharkiv. There is a lack of forces and means. They will penetrate the defense line of Kharkiv. I do not think that they will withdraw troops from Kherson Oblast or Zaporozhye to start an offensive to Kharkiv. Most likely, they will want to go to the administrative borders of Donetsk region and Luhansk region," the expert explained.

We will remind you that on the night of January 29, the Russians launched an S-300 missile at a residential building in the center of Kharkiv.

An elderly woman died as a result of a terrorist act.

Residents of one of the entrances were left homeless.
